Yoga and Ayurveda are two “sister” practices that originated in India 5000 years ago.
Now, many of you are familiar with yoga, and have experienced firsthand—through postures, breathwork, and self-inquiry—its profound benefits. Yet you may not be as familiar with Ayurveda. You might have heard about it in conjunction with yoga, but are not quite sure how, exactly.

In this workshop Yoga and Ayurveda, Sam and I will explain that yoga means union in Sanskrit, and a definition of Ayurveda is the wisdom of life. Explored together, these complementary practices can offer us transformative tools that foster greater health and vitality. We will explain that integrating Ayurvedic principles into your yoga practice can create a deeper, richer experience on the mat that you can take with you off the mat as well. Health is not a mere absence of disease, it is the dynamic expression of life and through the practice of yoga and ayurveda you can develop a long term approach to revitalising energy. You will leave the workshop with practical tools that can be easily implemented into your daily routine with Winter in mind!

You will do a deep 90 minute yoga flow, breath work, you will learn about daily routines and remedies with a specific focus on winter, keeping your immune system at an optimum, meditate and leave armed with a total body and mind tool kit that will set you up for life.

Please book now through Zoe@nikiperryyoga.com to secure your place at this very special workshop.
