Come and experience an energetic celebration of life and let’s just reflect on why it is so important to support the people we love and those that need our help.
For the Yoga Extravaganza this year we have chosen two charities, Sarcoma (the bone and soft tissue cancer charity) and St Wilfrid’s Hospice which provides high quality palliative and end of life care in our community.
I had a friend who was looked after so well at St Wilfrid’s, making a ghastly situation as best as it possibly could. In order to continue to provide specialist care the hospice urgently needs a new purpose-built Hospice, a dream building which will enable them to support our local community for the next 30 years and beyond. 50% of the total funds raised will go towards this DREAM.
SARCOMA is perhaps not a widely known form of cancer, I certainly had no idea what it was until a close friend of ours was diagnosed with it over a year ago in Spain. There is another special lady called Mel de Lacy who has sarcoma and local to Chichester and known by many, if you can take 5 minutes to read her story this link below, you should. she is remarkable and inspiring. 50% of the total funds raised from this DREAM YOGA night will be donated to the Sarcoma UK Charity.
This is the only cancer charity in the UK focusing on all types of sarcoma with a mission to amplify sarcoma awareness, inspire involvement, and fund ground breaking research to transform the lives of everyone affected by sarcoma.
Tragically most of us know someone who has had cancer or has cancer, on THURSDAY 1ST MARCH WE will celebrate LIFE to the MAX and raise as much as we possibly can for these very worthy causes.
Bringing our community together to help in this way will give strength to those in our community who need help now and support those facilities that do it so well and that’s why we need events like this. I can’t wait to see you.
